The Centenary of Queen Elizabeth II's birth
Celebrate with our special exhibition and programme of events.

In 2026, we celebrate 100 years since Queen Elizabeth II's birth on 21 April 1926.
As part of the celebrations, you can visit our special fashion exhibition at The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, where you'll see outfits worn by Queen Elizabeth II throughout her life. There’s also a rare chance to explore her private apartments at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland, opened to visitors for the first time.
We’ll also be hosting a programme of special events throughout the year focused on Queen Elizabeth II and her life.
