Is the exhibition accessible? And can I book a wheelchair to borrow?
The King’s Gallery is fully accessible. Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge, on a first come, first served basis, it is not possible to book them in advance. Read our full accessibility information for The King’s Gallery.
Can I book disabled parking for my visit?
We do not offer parking for The King’s Gallery. Disabled parking spaces are available in the local area please check the Westminster County Council website for details of the closest disabled parking.
Can I arrive earlier or later than my booked entry time?
Due to the popularity of the exhibition, we are unable to admit customers before their booked entry slot. Entrance for late arrivals is at the discretion of the entrance and security team on the day and may not be possible or may require additional waiting time.
How long does it take to visit the exhibition?
We recommend allowing a minimum of an hour to visit the exhibition. Recommended timings for all London sites are:
- The King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace – 1 Hour 15 Minutes
- The Royal Mews – 1 Hour
- The State Rooms, Buckingham Palace – 2.5 hours
Tickets, Availability, and Refund/Exchange Queries
There is no availability on the date I want to visit, will anymore be released?
If your chosen date appears sold out online, we are unable to release any further tickets for this date. However, any tickets that do become available will be available on our website. Please continue to check online as this is the best place to secure tickets.
Can I be added to a waiting list for tickets?
We do not operate a waiting list as our tickets are non-refundable, and we are unlikely to have cancellations available as a result.
Can I get tickets if I arrive on the day?
No, tickets are not held for on the day walk-ups. If you would like to visit, please ensure you have booked in advance.
Can I arrange a private tour?
Check availability on our page about private evening views of the exhibition. These are ‘group’ products and the minimum number of attendees must be paid for the visit to go ahead, even if fewer than the minimum people are visiting.
Am I entitled to a disabled ticket and what proof of disability do I need to bring?
If you identify yourself as disabled, we offer disabled ticket types and access companions. No proof of disability is required.
Is there a concessionary rate for over 60s?
No concessionary rate is available for over 60s.The prices for individual entry to the exhibition are below. Groups of 15 or over are entitled to a discounted rate, read further information for groups visiting The King's Gallery.

I have purchased tickets for the exhibition through a third party, are they valid?
Tickets purchased from Headout, Viatour, Golden Tours, Get Your Guide, and Tiqets are valid for entry to the exhibition. If you have purchased through any other third party, please contact them to confirm validity, we are unable to help further with third party bookings.
I have the London Pass/Go City Pass, is it possible to book entry in advance?
No, entry with the London Pass or Go City Pass is assigned on arrival and is subject to availability.
Can I get £1 tickets for the exhibition?
£1 tickets are available for customers in receipt of the UK benefits listed below, if you receive a benefit that is not on this list you regrettably are not currently eligible for the £1 ticket scheme.

Can I add the exhibition to my existing tickets for another site? Or add other sites to my booking for the exhibition?
Due to the high volume of customers contacting us at present, we advise that you book all additional tickets via the website.
If you would like to add a tour that is not available to book separately online (for example a Garden Highlights Tour at Buckingham Palace), please book again via the website and email us your original booking number, we will then refund the original booking. Alternatively, please call us on +44 (0)303 123 7300. It is not possible to add additional tours via email.
Do you accept the Blue Light Card/ICOM card/Art Pass?
Regrettably, we do not accept these cards or memberships for free or reduced admission.
Is the exhibition included in the MOD90 and DDS card complimentary access scheme? If so, how do I book?
Yes, all exhibitions at The King’s Gallery are included in this scheme.
To book please call the Ticket Sales and Information Office on +44 (0)303 123 7300, all telephone bookings incur a £2.00 fee. Admission on arrival is unlikely without a booking.
Can I exchange my exhibition ticket for a different date?
We may be able to exchange the date of your visit, but this is subject to availability. Please email your requested alternative date via the contact us form. Please ensure that tickets are available for your new date before making your request, we are unable to exchange to sold out dates.
I am unable to use my exhibition ticket, can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use your exhibition ticket, we may be able to exchange the date of your visit, but this is subject to availability. Please email your requested alternative date via the contact us form. Please ensure that tickets are available for your new date before making your request, we are unable to exchange to sold out dates.
I have the 1-Year Pass for The King’s Gallery, does this mean I can get in on the day without booking in advance?
No, all 1-Year Pass repeat visits must be booked in advance via the Ticket Sales and Information Office on +44 (0)303 123 7301, all telephone bookings incur a £2.00 booking fee. Read more about the 1-Year Pass.
1-Year Pass Queries
Can I book repeat visit tickets using the 1-Year Pass that I am not yet in possession of?
Until you have completed your first visit you do not hold a 1-Year Pass. The 1-Year Pass scheme is run in accordance with Gift Aid rules set out by HMRC, and these rules do not permit the use of the pass to book additional visits before the first visit has been made. I have a ticket/1-Year Pass for Buckingham Palace, does this include the exhibition?
No, the exhibition is taking place in The King’s Gallery which is a separate site to the State Rooms, Buckingham Palace. Read more about The King's Gallery, London.

Will there be any opportunities to join online events about the exhibition?
Yes, a variety of online events are planned for the exhibition. See our upcoming digital events. Some digital events have a limited number of tickets available for operational reasons so make sure to book your space in advance.
Is there a book to accompany the exhibition?
Yes, Queen Elizabeth II: Fashion and Style is available from our shops and to order online. This richly illustrated book fully documents for the first time the fashion collection of Queen Elizabeth II in unprecedented detail.
Is the exhibition going to travel to other locations in the future?
There are currently no plans for the exhibition to travel to other locations. Please make sure that you are signed up to our enewsletters to be the first to hear if further locations are added in the future.
Are there any plans to extend the exhibition run?
The exhibition has been extended by six months due to popular demand, allowing hundreds of thousands more visitors to enjoy the largest exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever staged. Originally scheduled to close on 18 October 2026, the exhibition will now run until 18 April 2027.
