INDIAN

Dagger (jambiya) and scabbard

RCIN 62472

This hooked bladed dagger is known as a jambiya. This style of dagger was associated with parts of the Arabian Peninsula, in particular with Yemen. It is possible that the blade was made by Yemeni craftsmen working in India.
