A knife with an ebony and ivory octagonal handle. The metal pommel and ferrule engraved with gilt edging and foliate decorations; the scrolled quillons en suite. The steel blade with a gilt damascened top edge, foliate decoration and inscription. Green velvet covered scabbard with shaped gold mouthpiece, chape and tassel.
