Art in the State Apartments Photographer: Hayley Madden
On Saturdays throughout October and during half-term, join us in the State Apartments for family activities inspired by royal wedding fashion. Admire the wedding dress recently worn by Princess Beatrice, then become a royal fashion designer in our fun art workshop. Customise and decorate a royal wedding dress or create a colourful royal wedding carriage collage. You can also design your own version of Queen Mary’s Fringe Tiara to wear as you travel around the Castle. This beautiful tiara was worn by both The Queen and Princess Beatrice on their wedding days.
For even more art and craft fun during your visit, head to our beautiful new Learning Centre, located at the start of the visitor route in Pug Yard, for Rainbow Queen.
Please note, due to the current need for social distancing, places for the activities are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
All events at Windsor Castle will be managed in line with COVID-secure procedures. Please see our Welcome Back page for more information.
