Sprig of artificial orange blossom from Princess Alexandra’s bridal wreath

1863

RCIN 54331

These wax orange blossom flowers come from the wreath that held Princess Alexandra's wedding veil in place. The trimmings on her wedding dress were of the same wax blossoms. Queen Victoria, the Princess's mother-in-law carefully preserved a sprig in this envelope.
