    Queen Mary's Doll's House

Made for an Exhibition in 1924

One of the most spectacular of these items on show at Windsor is a massive Edwardian doll's house that was commissioned for Queen Mary. Around 1,500 craftsmen worked on the house which has working chandeliers and pipes that carry hot and cold water. The house was commisioned as part of a massive exhibition in London in 1924. This is a house that is truly prepared to accommodate tiny royalty. There is even a tiny mouse in this tiny house!
