The base of the figure is inlaid with mother-of-pearl shapes of the 15 Cook Islands:Pukapuka, Suwarrow, Rakahanga, Takutea,Penrhyn, Mauke, Aitutaki, Rarotonga, Mangaia, Atiu, Mitiaro, Palmerston, Manuae, Manihiki and Nassau.
