King George III returning from hunting through Eton

George III, astride a white horse, is shown riding through Eton towards Windsor Castle. A pack of hounds towards the front of the royal party suggests that they have been hunting. Images of the King hunting were popular and were made throughout his reign. Acquired by Edward VII, 1909 Cat. 52
