There are around 300 works by Queen Alexandra in the Royal Collection, all dating from after her marriage to Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, later Edward VII. Queen Alexandra was given drawing lessons by William Leighton Leitch (who had also taught her husband and mother-in-law) and was later tutored by Henry A. Harper and Hermann Corrodi, among others.
