Pair of armchairs

The 'Napoleon Chair' was Lutyens's favourite piece of furniture and one that he used himself. Lutyens's granddaughter, Mary, noted that the chair's design was inspired by a painting that Lutyens had seen of Napoleon in an asymmetrical chair.
