This suit of armour was once worn by Henry Frederick, Prince of Wales, the eldest son of James I and VI and Anne of Denmark. It is one of the finest and most complete armours to survive from the Greenwich workshop - the main suppliers of armour to the monarch and court from the reign of Henry VIII until the English Civil War.

In this film, Royal Collection Armourer Simon Metcalf, tells us about the history and craftsmanship of this iconic piece of armour.

You can see the armour in the State Entrance on your visit to Windsor Castle.
