Warden at Windsor Castle
Working for us

Find out about our huge range of roles and what it's like working for Royal Collection Trust

  • Our roles

Victoria, Retail Operations Administrator

Three million people visit Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse each year, and our twelve shops play an important part in creating a truly memorable experience. The role of our front-of-house staff is to welcome visitors, tell them about our products and help them select a fitting reminder of their day – whether a cuddly toy corgi or a one-off collector's piece of china.

More than 95% of the items we sell are designed and produced exclusively for Royal Collection Trust, giving us the opportunity to be involved from the concept and design stage to packaging, photography and point-of-sale material.

Specialties within Retail include design, buying, product merchandising and e-commerce.  At any one time we will have several members of the central team who started their careers on the shop floor.

Whether we are working front of house or behind the scenes, we are all committed to meeting or exceeding sales targets, providing exceptional levels of customer service and maintaining high standards of presentation. We are very aware of how our work directly supports The Royal Collection Trust's charitable aims, giving us a real sense of collective purpose.
