Working for us
Find out about our huge range of roles and what it's like working for Royal Collection Trust
Our roles
From conservators to curators and publishers to press officers, our staff explain what they do and what it's like working for Royal Collection Trust.
Conserving
The Conservation teams ensure that the objects in the Royal Collection are maintained and conserved to the highest standards, and that visitors can view the Collection in the best-possible condition. You can read more about the work of our conservators in our series of online conservation case studies.
Curating
Our curators are responsible for the care, display and interpretation of one of the world's greatest art collections. They work to share the Collection as widely as possible by researching and planning exhibitions, arranging loans, answering enquiries, giving lectures, and publishing on line and in print.
Interpreting
Our Exhibitions and Learning teams work to enhance public appreciation and understanding of the Royal Collection and the Palaces. Collaborating closely with the curators, they deliver thought-provoking exhibitions, imaginative interpretation and inspiring events programmes.
Promoting
The Marketing, Press and System Infrastructure teams support Royal Collection Trust's huge range of activities, from exhibitions and learning events to publications and retail merchandise. The teams work alongside each other across a range of communications channels.
Publishing
The publication of the Royal Collection is fundamental to making the works of art more widely known and enjoyed. Our Publishing and Photographic Services teams work closely together to create and publish a wide variety of content in both print and digital formats.
Welcoming
Exceptional levels of customer service are the cornerstone of all the work undertaken by the Visitor Services, Ticketing & Sales, and Retail teams. As the public face of the organisation, our staff create and deliver truly memorable experiences for each visitor.
