Our mission is to inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds to engage with and learn about the Royal Collection and Palaces. We do this by creating onsite and online programmes and resources for schools, families, adult learners and visitors with different access needs.

Working with such a wide range of audiences means that our roles and specialties are extremely varied. One member of the team might spend a morning with a school group in the State Apartments at Windsor Castle, while another could be developing a new family multimedia tour for the Royal Mews. A colleague with a focus on adult learning could be collaborating with the Marketing team to promote our programme of talks, workshops and performances, while another might be in discussion with a national charity about how to help blind and partially sighted visitors get the most out of a visit to The Queen's Gallery.

Whichever audience we work with, we all need to be flexible, curious and energetic. Creativity is essential in conceiving imaginative programmes that tell the Collection's stories in new and surprising ways, but close attention to detail and the ability to multitask are equally important. Above all, we share a passion for interacting with all types of visitors and interpreting the Royal Collection so that as many people as possible are able to enjoy it.
