Annual Reports
Our latest 2024-25 annual review looks at an eventful year for Royal Collection Trust with the highest number of visitors to the summer opening of Buckingham Palace since it first opened its doors to the public over 30 years ago. We also hosted our first Artists in Residence programme at The King’s Gallery and we launched a £1 ticket offer as part of our aim to find welcoming and inclusive ways for everyone to enjoy the Collection.

Our charitable work
We are a charity. This means the income raised from your ticket contributes to our work of caring for the Royal Collection and looking after visitors to the royal palaces.
Conservation
We care for and conserve the Royal Collection – one of the most important art collections in the world. Last year alone, we conserved over 2,000 works, including paintings, decorative arts, works on paper and books.
Exhibitions
We have a rolling programme of exhibitions and displays at The King’s Galleries and the royal palaces to showcase the Collection and share the story of how it has evolved over the past 500 years.
Loans
We loan hundreds of works each year to institutions across the UK and abroad. In 2024/25, more than 150 items were loaned to 33 exhibitions and displays in 7 different countries.
Learning Programme
We offer a broad ranging programme of events for families, students, adults and community groups to help bring the Royal Collection to life and make it as accessible as possible.
