Decorate a room in the Palace - activity sheet

The State Apartments at Buckingham Palace are very grand spaces, as you can see in the picture of the White Drawing Room below. This room has a colourful carpet, an elaborate ceiling, and it is filled with many beautiful objects. The more you look at this picture the more objects you will find – what can you see?

Use the White Drawing Room as inspiration and have a go at designing your own room for the Palace. What colours will you choose for your room? Think about what objects or furniture you might want to include. Will you add portraits of your family members?
