Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of the East Wing of Buckingham Palace this summer, combined with your standard visit to the magnificent State Rooms.
Led by an expert guide, the East Wing Highlights Tour will take you through the principal rooms of the Wing, as you discover the spaces beyond the famous façade of the building. You will view exquisite works from the Royal Collection and visit the Centre Room, with views of the Palace balcony, first used by Queen Victoria.
Good to know
After your East Wing Highlights Tour, which lasts around 1 hour, your guide will escort you to the start of your self-guided State Rooms visit. Your State Rooms visit includes a multimedia guide.
You will be able to visit the Garden Café and Garden Shop at the end of your visit.
There is limited availability, with a maximum number of 20 places on each East Wing Highlights Tour.
Your ticket can be converted into a 1-Year Pass for unlimited standard admission to Buckingham Palace. A £2 transaction fee will apply when pre-booking a return visit.
The State Rooms and East Wing Highlights Tour is not a group product and is also not for purchase or resale by third-parties. Any such orders will be cancelled.

Access information
If you require step-free access during your visit to the State Rooms, Buckingham Palace this must be pre-booked and cannot be booked online. Instead, please contact us by telephoning +44 (0)303 123 7324 or emailing [email protected]. Tickets booked on our website are for the standard route only which is not step-free.
We offer a free access companion ticket for disabled visitors.
When can I visit the East Wing of Buckingham Palace?
There are two ways to enjoy a visit to the East Wing of Buckingham Palace:
- October to March - East Wing Exclusive Guided Tours. These tours are a more in-depth look at the history of the East Wing and the works of art on display. They do not include a visit to the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace.
- July to September - The State Rooms and East Wing Highlights Tour allows you to combine a tour of the highlights of the East Wing with a visit to the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace.
