    Join us for a week celebrating all the ways in which stories and legends are told within the Palace walls.

    Colourful Cross-stitch Tales 

    Discover how Mary, Queen of Scots – and many historic women – created beautiful images in cloth. Try your hand at cross-stitching, inspired by the legendary figures and fantastical scenes in the hanging tapestries throughout the Palace.

    Story Writing Trail

    Use this booklet to get creative as you journey through the Palace. Look around you at the portraits, artwork and architecture to help form your own ideas of a character, setting and plot. Take this away to write your own story or legend back at home!
