    A weapons store for James V; courtiers’ lodgings for Mary, Queen of Scots; a sanctuary for 6,000 people in debt; a site of taverns and tearooms – Abbey Strand has been all these and more across the last five centuries. This Doors Open weekend, step inside the Abbey Strand Centre for special guided tours, and explore the Physic Garden with family trails and activities.

    Tours will take place at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 15:00. Please note places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and no booking is required.
