With fine metalwork, enamelling and cut jewels, the Darnley Jewel – part of the Royal Collection – and the Fettercairn Jewel – in the collection of National Museums Scotland, are two of the most important Renaissance jewels in Britain, both with a Scottish provenance.

Join Anna Groundwater, Principal Curator, Renaissance and Early Modern History at National Museums Scotland, and Emma Stead, Curator at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, to explore the world of Renaissance Scotland, and the context in which the jewels were made.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
