The tour begins with a talk on the fascinating history of the Palace grounds from the 14th century to the present day with an expert guide in the Abbey Strand Centre. It then takes you to Scotland's original botanic garden for physicians, the site of the ancient menagerie, rare Wentworth elm trees, the Jubilee Border and more.

The tour of the Palace gardens begins with refreshments and an expert talk in the Abbey Strand Centre, following by a tour of the physic and royal gardens. From this point onwards, your group is free to explore the Palace and its rich history at their leisure with a multimedia guide.
