Join exhibition curator Kathryn Jones in conversation with costume designers Jenny Beavan OBE RDI and John Bright OBE as they discuss the portrayal of Edwardian dress in television and film.

They will share insights from their work on the award-winning costume designs for A Room with a View (1985) and their collaboration on Merchant Ivory Productions. Using examples of Edwardian period dress from the exhibition, they will offer a fresh perspective on the garments on display and explore how the visual arts have shaped the public’s perception of the era.

The discussion will be followed by a private view of The Edwardians: Age of Elegance exhibition. Your ticket also includes a glass of wine or soft drink to enjoy while you explore the Gallery.

Your ticket will be converted into a 1-Year Pass, allowing you to visit our current and future exhibitions at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace as many times as you like within the next year. See here for more information about the 1-Year Pass.
