Join exhibition curator Kathryn Jones in conversation with costume designer Jenny Beavan OBE RDI as they discuss how Edwardian dress has been portrayed in television and film.

In a career spanning over four decades, Jenny is recognized for her prolific work across stage and screen. She has received numerous accolades, including three Academy Awards, four BAFTA Awards, two Emmy Awards, and an Olivier Award.

Participants will hear about Jenny's Academy Award-winning designs for the costumes for A Room with a View and her work on the Merchant Ivory films. Using examples of Edwardian period dress from the exhibition, Kathryn and Jenny will discuss Edwardian dress and how the visual arts have shaped the public’s perception of the period.

Their discussion will be followed by a private view of The Edwardians: Age of Elegance exhibition and your ticket will include a glass of wine or soft drink to enjoy while you explore the Gallery.

Your ticket will be converted into a 1-Year Pass, allowing you to visit our current and future exhibitions at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace as many times as you like within the next year. See here for more information about the 1-Year Pass.
