The Royal Collection holds some of the most significant examples of Japanese art and design in the western world.

Deaf presenter John Wilson will give a talk on the highlights from this outstanding collection. Together, they tell the story of 300 years of diplomatic, artistic and cultural exchange between the British and Japanese royal and imperial families.

The talk will last about 45 minutes. Visitors can then spend their time, independently, in the exhibition space. A Plain English script is available.

Tickets cost £9, access companion tickets can be booked by emailing [email protected]

Tickets can be converted to a 1-Year Pass and used for free return visits to The Queen’s Gallery.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
