This September, join us for a month of events to coincide with the 275th anniversary of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in September 1745, together with the anniversary of the famous Jacobite victory at the Battle of Prestonpans.

Family activities will let youngsters explore the history of the Jacobites and music will bring to life some of these stories. Join us for short talks to discover what the Palace was like during Bonnie Prince Charlie's visit and how the Jacobites have been depicted in fiction.
