Join expert embroiderer, Helen McCook, for a two-day goldwork embroidery workshop inspired by the highland dress accoutrements of George IV. These spectacular accessories were worn by George IV during his historic visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse 200 years ago. Beset with jewels, and with intricate gold detailing, the accoutrements are on display at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and will be viewed as part of this workshop.

Needles, threads and pattern included. Please bring an 8 inch hoop and embroidery scissors.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
