Edwardian Entertainment and Costume Balls

In the surrounding of the Great Gallery at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, hear about Edwardian entertaining. Kathryn Jones, Senior Curator of Decorative Arts, and Emma Stead, Curator - Palace of Holyroodhouse, will discuss the great costume balls of the Edwardian era, including the Waverley Ball, held in aid of the Scott Monument in Edinburgh. There will also be an opportunity to see the Mary, Queen of Scots costume Queen Alexandra wore to this event.
