For centuries, portraiture has played a vital role in shaping the public’s perception of the Royal Family. Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography charts the evolution of royal portrait photography from the 1920s to the present day, bringing together more than 150 photographic prints, proofs and documents from the Royal Collection and the Royal Archives.

In this lunchtime lecture, join Alessandro Nasini, Senior Curator of Photographs and curator of this exhibition to discover works from the most celebrated royal photographers and how famous royal images were created.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
