Join Ashleigh Brown, Paper and Photographic Conservator, as she delves behind the scenes and shares insights into her role as a conservator preparing for a photographic exhibition.

Drawing on her experiences preparing for our current exhibition, Royal Portraits: A Century of Photography at The King's Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse, Ashleigh will discuss some of the key challenges that a photographic exhibition involves, such as the exhibits' sensitivity to light and the challenge of how to mount some of the Collection's largest photographs in a way that best presents them to the public whilst keeping them safe.
