Limited free coach parking is available adjacent to the Palace. Alternative pay-and-display coach parking is available on nearby Regent Road.

This winter the Palace will be transformed with Christmas decorations including magnificiently decorated trees in the Throne Room and Great Gallery, adorned with shimmering decorations and sparkling lights, while the Great Stair leading to the historic State Apartments will be draped with twinkling velvet garlands, vibrant berries and seasonal foliage.

Festive events for adults
Christmas Evening Tours of the Palace are available on selected dates. Visitors will enjoy a private after-hours tour of the State Apartments, culminating in a glass of champagne and a mince pie - the perfect Christmas present for a loved one, or treat for yourself. Visitors interested in learning how monarchs have celebrated Christmas over the centuries – from exchanging Christmas cards and personal gifts to holding festive pantomimes – can hear short talks held on Thursdays throughout December. Learn more about the short talks.
A special programme of festive music will be performed in an evening Christmas concert on 10 and 11 December, concluding with a glass of wine and mince pies. Book tickets to the Christmas concert.

Christmas Afternoon Tea
Visit the Café at the Palace in the historic Mews courtyard, where you can can enjoy homemade mince pies, Christmas cake and mulled wine.
