Watch in wonder as expert performers from the Royal Armouries bring authentic combat techniques to life before your eyes and explain the secrets of their design and manufacture. This exciting display will showcase these remarkable swords in action through the martial arts of ‘Iaijutsu’ (sword drawing) ‘Kenjutsu’ (battlefield sword techniques), and the practice of ‘Tameshigiri’ (Test Cutting, using rolls of bamboo matting).
