    Design your own fabric panel

    One of our most famous objects depicting an animal is an embroidery by Mary, Queen of Scots. Discover the surprising story behind this object, as well as the animals it shows, and design and decorate your own special panel to take home.

    Unicorn Easter Bonnets

    Hear all about Scotland's national animal, and make your own Easter bonnet inspired by this mythical animal. 

    Origami Menagerie

    Did you know that a long time ago there were lions, tigers and bears in the garden at the Palace? Have a go at making an animal out of paper in our origami activity.
