Join food historian Marc Meltonville at the King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace as he explores the breadth of dining experienced by people of all classes in Edwardian England.

As well as discussing what a typical Edwardian family might eat, Marc will delve into the sumptuous food enjoyed by the Royal Family in this era, including the luxurious cocktails concocted by skilled 'mixologists' of the period.

The Edwardians also saw the birth of many of the great London hotel dining rooms and bars, including The Goring, The Ritz and The Savoy and Marc will share some of the delights on the menus of these esteemed establishments.

Marc's talk will be followed by a private view of The Edwardians: Age of Elegance exhibition and your ticket will include an alcoholic or soft drink to enjoy while you explore the Gallery.

Your ticket will be converted into a 1-Year Pass, allowing you to visit our current and future exhibitions at The King's Gallery, Buckingham Palace as many times as you like within the next year. See here for more information about the 1-Year Pass.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
