Exclusive Study Afternoon at Buckingham Palace

Join us for an exclusive study afternoon at Buckingham Palace, focusing on one of the most celebrated State Rooms: the Picture Gallery. On a day when the Palace is usually closed to the public, the afternoon will include three expert talks from our curatorial team exploring the Picture Gallery’s history, how curators decide which pictures to display, how the artworks are cared for, and insights into the paintings themselves.

The talks will be followed by light refreshments and a curator-led tour through selected State Rooms, with extended time in the Picture Gallery to view the masterpieces on display up close. This event is open to anyone with an interest in art with no level of expertise necessary.
