Browse through a special selection of videos, activities and trails that highlight fascinating objects in the Royal Collection and give historical insights into royal palaces. At a time when many of us would have been going on holiday, we invite you to take a trip with us around the world through objects in the Royal Collection. Each week we will visit a new country to explore must-see landmarks and explore its history of royal visits. Each country will be brought to life through decorative objects, paintings and photographs, in the comfort of your own home.

Join us this week as we visit Italy, home of some of the world’s most famous artists. Travel through history from medieval religious masterpieces, to the sights of 17th-century Venice with Canaletto, and sustain yourself with a delicious and healthy vegetable focaccia. Of course, no trip to Italy would be complete without spending some time with the original ‘Renaissance man’ himself, Leonardo da Vinci.
