CIRCLE OF AGOSTINO CARRACCI (BOLOGNA 1557-PARMA 1602)

Two heads of eagles

c.1620s

RCIN 902011

This is the drawing that was reproduced by Prince Albert in the previous item.

The drawing was then attributed to Annibale Carracci (it is now thought to be by a member of the circle of his brother Agostino) and would have been housed in a volume of other drawings by the Carracci family of artists in the Print Room.
