These four canvas wall panels painted with Chinese figures dressed in chinoiserie costume are today at Buckingham Palace. They were part of a larger set that hung in the Banqueting Room at the Royal Pavilion, Brighton. Some paintings from the set were later returned by HM The Queen to Brighton but most in the Banqueting Room today are versions painted by French artist Antoine Dury in 1864.
