The Great Exhibition: the Stained Glass Gallery

dated 1852

RCIN 919941

The glass was greatly praised, especially that by the Newcastle-upon-Tyne firm of John Gibson, which the Art Journal ‘much admired’ as ‘gorgeous, yet simple and unpretending’.
