Intaglio: probably 17th c.; Mount: c. 1700

Intaglio of a head of a bearded warrior, in profile to the left. He wears a necklace and a helmet decorated with a horse-drawn chariot. To the right of the head is a small full-length female figure holding up a piece of drapery. The mount is probably of about 1700 or earlier.
