The Queen visits Larkhill

12 Jun 2008

RCIN 2943879

The Queen is pictured here on the day she opened the Royal Artillery’s new regimental home at Larkhill in Wiltshire in 2008. It was due to changes to the size and structure of the Army that the Regiment had to leave Woolwich, its home since its formation as a permanent force of artillery in 1716.
