RAF Coltishall closed in December 2006. At the time of The Queen’s visit in November 2005, it was the home of the Jaguar fighter bomber and was the last Battle of Britain station still operating as a front line unit. The station was also celebrating the 65th anniversaries of its foundation and of the Battle of Britain. The Queen is pictured here watching a flypast of RAF Jaguars.
