Elizabeth (b. 1506) was More’s second daughter, and had recently married William Dauncey. In the group portrait she stood to the far left, next to Margaret Giggs, her hands clasped in front of her. The inscription ‘The Lady Barkley’ is an eighteenth-century misidentification.
