This image suggests the informality and companionship of the hunt, but also the special qualities of the Prince, who takes up a central position in front of the Castle and receives the homage of his companions. The working huntsmen are dealing with the quarry almost out of sight in the background. Probably commissioned by Frederick, Prince of Wales Cat. 247
