David Andersen (1843-1901)
Set of teaspoons and strainer Apr 1923
The Duke of York’s uncle and aunt, King Haakon VII and Queen Maud of Norway, presented these teaspoons and strainer as a wedding present. Queen Maud was the youngest sister of King George V. They are fine examples of the work of the Norwegian gold- and silversmith firm founded by David Andersen.
