Recreation of the Crimean Ball

Part of the 2019 Summer Opening exhibition Queen Victoria's Palace is a recreation of the Crimean Ball of June 1856. Royal Collection Trust collaborated with a Hollywood-based production company to recreate the festivity, the music and the colour that defines the early part of Queen Victoria's time at Buckingham Palace. Watch this film to learn about the research that went into this historically accurate immersive recreation.

The income from your ticket contributes directly to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity. The aims of The Royal Collection Trust are the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational activities.
