    The wedding of the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Elizabeth took place in Westminster Abbey on 20 November 1947. After the marriage ceremony the couple processed to Buckingham Palace where the Wedding Breakfast was held. This photograph of the couple was taken in the Throne Room of the Palace.
