By the late 1920s Prince Philip’s family had settled in France. This image was taken in Paris by the Russian photographer Emile Marcovitch. It shows Prince Philip in the distinctive dress uniform of an Evzone Guard with cap and embroidered waistcoat. The Evzones are a ceremonial unit of the Greek Army.
