This volume of poetry, first published in 1992, collected together all of the Laureate poems that Hughes had written up to that point. The volume was published at the request of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and this is one of several copies of the special edition that Hughes presented to The Queen and her family at the end of 1991.
