This collection of poems was first published in a limited edition by the Rainbow Press. They contain rough verse poems written by Hughes as a kind of journal from 1972 to 1976 when he owned and worked a farm called Moortown in Devon, keeping sheep and cattle. Presented to Queen Elizabeth II by Ted Hughes, 1988
