    A head and shoulders photographic portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II (b. 1926) taken at Buckingham Palace. This is one of a portfolio of photographs commissioned to mark the fiftieth anniversary of her Accession in 2002. The Queen is photographed against a gold background and wears a three-strand pearl necklace, a diamond star brooch and a blue dress suit.
